Man vs. Machine

Remember all those great chess matches between IBM´s Deep Blue and Gary Kasparov? Now the University of Alberta developed a program named “Polaris”, which supposedly shall be the next Poker-Deep Blue, kicking everybody´s ass in poker!

Phil Laak and Ali Eslami have now been challenged to test their skills in fixed limit holdem agains Polaris in a real money game today and tomorrow in Vancouver! There will be four 500-hand sessions overall versus Polaris, both heads-up, and both with the same cards and flops!
