The entry-level for digital cameras seems to speed up a notch with kodak releasing 5- and 6-megapixel digital cameras for the mass market. I remember buying my first “take it with me to the clubs” - digital camera with only 1 megapixel! Now the entry-level already got 6 megapixels, which in my opinion is a bit oversized for the amateur user. Just yesterday I received an email from my dad with a 4 megabyte image attached to it. My dad just attached the image he got right out of his new camera - nice going… What do I need a huge 4 megabyte picture for? I would have been totaly fine with a 640×480 pixel image of my dad and mum in front of their new house - I don´t got to see that poster-size
